Shannon Home Health Recognized as National Leader in Patient Satisfaction

Shannon Home Health has been recognized by Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) as a “Premier Performer” based on an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top of 5% of all eligible SHP programs for the 2023 calendar year.

The annual SHPBest™ award program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high-quality care to their patients. Recipients for 2023 were determined by reviewing and ranking overall satisfaction scores of more than 3,200 home health providers. With the largest Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) benchmark in the U.S., SHP helps to recognize organizations that make patient satisfaction a priority and receive high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.

Shannon Home Health recently celebrated a landmark 40 years of care and service in the Concho Valley. Starting in 1984, Shannon Home Health paved the way as the first hospital-based home healthcare service available in the Concho Valley. Today, Shannon Home Health offers nursing, therapy and personal assistance services to qualifying patients in the comfort of their own homes in Tom Green, Sterling, Coke, Runnels, Concho, Schleicher and Irion counties.
