WalMart and Sam's Club Spark Good for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

For 37 years, Walmart and Sam’s Club have partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to change kids’ health to change the future. Associates in stores and clubs across the country have rallied behind the CMN Hospitals campaign year in and year out, raising more than $1 billion over the lifetime of the partnership for children’s hospitals across North America.

This year’s register campaign runs from June 10 to July 7. Customers and members can conveniently donate $1 or more when they check out at any Walmart or Sam’s Club location in San Angelo and Brady. Associates also fundraise in other ways including bake sales, in-store contests and events.

In 2023, the four-week Walmart and Sam’s Club campaign raised more than $72,000 for Children’s Miracle Network at Shannon Medical Center. Like all CMN fundraisers, 100 percent of funds go directly to Shannon Medical Center.

Changing kids’ health through children’s hospitals isn’t just about treating illness and trauma – it’s about making the child and their family have everything they need to feel stable, comfortable and prepared for what comes next.

CMN funds are used each year to purchase new equipment and provide training to benefit any department at Shannon that could possibly treat a pediatric patient. CMN’s goal is to provide these services locally so that area children may stay in San Angelo at home, or close to home, for their treatments.

Customers and members can help spread the word about the campaign via social media using the hashtag #HelpKidsLiveBetter.
