Shannon Breast Center Hosts Pink-Out Mammogram Party

Shannon Breast Center invites the public to a special ‘pink-out’ Mammogram Party on Wednesday, October 16 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Shannon Breast Center, located inside Shannon Clinic – Harris (220 E. Harris Ave.). During this special event, attendees can receive their mammograms after-hours and enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music. Attendees will receive a free gift and be entered to win a luxury spa package.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in their lifetime. For the best chance of early detection and successful treatment, the American Cancer Society advises women receive yearly mammograms beginning at age 40.
