Support Services to Meet Your Unique Needs
At Shannon, our team knows that there is no one-size-fits-all solution for cancer care. That is why we create truly customized treatment plans for cancer patients—combining multiple treatment methods, including radiation oncology, chemotherapy, and surgery. Additionally, we utilize state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic equipment to precisely target malignant cells while striving to maintain healthy surrounding tissue.
Our goal is to not just treat the disease, but the whole patient, which is why we don’t stop at diagnostics and treatments. Our support services are performed in-house—allowing us to streamline the care process. Your dedicated patient navigator will guide you through all of your options and coordinate with our specialists to get you the comprehensive care you deserve.

In addition to our in-house support solutions, we provide referrals to support groups, bone marrow transplant resources, rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care services based on your specific needs and desires.
Cancer Empowerment & Resource Center
At Shannon, we understand that a cancer diagnosis can flood you and your loved ones with questions, and we are here to provide you with answers. Our Empowerment & Resource Center, located in the same building as our Oncology Center, provides educational resources such as books, DVDs, and self-examination models. Additionally, we host support group meetings open to our community. To reach our Cancer Empowerment & Resource Center, call 325.747.2025 or email CancerEmpowerment@shannonhealth.org. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
