Shannon Health is proud to offer inpatient rehabilitation services through our partnership with Encompass Health, the nation’s leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation services. After being diagnosed with a major illness or injury, patients may need intensive therapy like those provided at Shannon Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, to help them regain strength and function to return to the community at their highest level of independence.

Patients receive a minimum of three hours of therapy per day for five days each week. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of providers including physicians trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses specialized in rehabilitation care, pharmacists, dietitians/nutritionists, case managers and more.
